My name is Stephen Balajadia Guerrero and I’m a Filipino-American from Chicago. My whole life I’ve been exposed to the values of supporting and being supported by your communities. With those motivations, I view engineering as a tool to improve the lives of others. In this field, I can utilize my designing and building skills to create products or systems that help thousands, even millions.

I hope to one day be an educator because I believe there is no higher privilege than teaching. With teaching, I can contribute to something much greater than myself and inspire the next generation of designers, scientists, and engineers.

In my free time, I like to dance hip-hop, learn new cooking recipes, and play video games with my friends.
